Meet Our Staff
Our SarahCare® Center prides itself on the experience and qualifications of its staff. Our staff includes:
- Registered and Licensed Practical Nurses: to administer prescribed medications, provide educational programs, manage day-to-day health needs, and attend to emergencies.
- Social Workers: to provide family support and assist with plans of care.
- Activities Professionals: to conduct personalized activity programs.
- Personal Care Assistants: to assist with personal care, including bathing.
- Dietary Consultants: to assist with meal plans and special diets.
- Professional Contractors: to provide chiropractic, podiatry services; physical, occupational and speech therapy services; massage therapy services.
Linda Steir, Executive Director and Co-Owner
Linda has a Bachelor's Degree in Human Services and over 20 years of professional experience in providing family support services.
Michael Steir, Administrator and Co-Owner
Michael has a Bachelor's and Master's Degree and over 30 years of industry experience. Michael recently retired from his position of Vice President for Cognex Corporation to devote his time to SarahCare®.
Marika Steir, Activities Co-ordinator
Marika graduated from Timberlane Regional High School with honors. Our Center has been Marika's dream for her career. Her never ending happiness and successes in life (in spite of her disabilities) provide an incredible inspiration for all who meet her.
Kristine McCormack, Registered Nurse
Kristine has been an RN for over ten years including practice as an oncology nurse in a hospital facility.
Luci Anderson, Licensed Practical Nurse
Luci graduated St. Joseph's School of Nursing with a concentration in Geriatrics with clinical experience at a nursing home and a senior adult health unit.
Marianne Gillette, Activities Co-ordinator
Marianne has many years of experience in elder care programming activities and personal care assistance. She was previously activities coordinator at an assisted living facility. Marianne and Marika jointly coordinate activities programming for our participants.
Linda Kelley, Personal Care Assistant
Linda provides cooking and personal care services for our participants.
